Futzy & The Bitch
A few years ago, while my husband Chris was playing guitar, I wouldn't stop making up stupid lyrics for his songs. And so Futzy & The Bitch were born.
We'll leave it to you to decide who's who.
With our great skill for swearing and ridiculous rhyme, F&TB have been churning out some silly distractions during Covid isolation.
We do miss live performances though, and not having to write PSA's!
Besides doing parodies, we also write our own original songs, too. This one, called The Anxiety Song, is a song we wrote and performed for the first live/virtual cabaret night of Xanadu Theatre, based in Ireland.
I'm a pretty big fan of sketch comedy, and when I can kidnap excellent equipment from my generous friends and family, it's go time.
These two are sketches from this summer under just such circumstances...
gingernuts
I am also a lover of the ridiculous, and thus Gingernuts was born. A musical comedy duo comprised of myself and friend Ellie Cope, we wrote songs mocking classic (and not so classic) works of literature. While we've since disbanded, this was a music video we made for a crowd favourite of ours, 50 Shades of Grey to the tune of t.a.t.u.'s 90's classic "All The Things She Said".
